restaurant week-
is absolutely kicking my ass! you see, twice a year, we participate in restaurant week, which takes place in november and march (when our area is hurting for business). we have a special 3 course menu for $30. now, most apps at my restaurant are usually between $12-22, and entrees are $33-42, so when this week rolls around, you’ve got people coming out of the woodwork and banging down the doors for a cheap meal. business dropped off crazy amounts as soon as summer was over, so this week’s been a great shot in the arm for the owners, but i’ve apparently gotten used to doing 20 people a night-this week we’ve done almost 60 a night, and friday and saturday could be record-breaking…
i think i may be getting too old for this shit-
gonna need to party real hard to make up for all this work!
